Home Protection Petition, 1880.
Home Protection petition, Illinios WCTU.
This petition was used to collect signatures in support of giving women the right to vote on temperance reforms in their towns as an issue of "Home Protection." This was an early campaign of Frances Willard's for women's suffrage in Illinois and was the first use by her of the "Home Protection" strategy.
